What we collect, and what we will never do with it.
Last updated October 2026.
The short version
We collect the minimum we need to run the program and to thank the people who fund it. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone, for any price. A young person's information is never used as marketing material.
What we collect
From supporters and volunteers. Name, email address, and where you provide them, phone number and city. If you give, our payment processor collects your payment details directly; we receive a confirmation and the amount, and we never see or store your card number.
From program participants and caregivers. Enrollment details, emergency contacts, attendance, and survey responses used to measure whether the program works. School records, where relevant, are accessed only under a signed release.
From this website. Standard server logs. We do not run advertising trackers or sell audience data.
Legal call-back requests
The call-back form collects contact details only: a first name, a phone number, whether we may leave a message, a good time to call, the county, the kind of help, a next court date if there is one, who is filling it in, and an optional email. Anything else sent with it is thrown away before it is stored. We keep no IP address or browser details with a call-back request, and it is deleted automatically after 90 days.
This form is not confidential, and it is not privileged. Contacting us does not create an attorney-client relationship. That begins only when a Colorado-licensed attorney accepts the matter in writing. Please do not describe what happened or any charges on this website or by email. An attorney will ask about that by phone.
Once a young person is our client, what they tell their attorney is protected by the rules of attorney confidentiality. We do not share it with funders, partners, or anyone else without the client's informed consent, except where the law requires.
How we use it
- To run the program and keep young people safe.
- To measure outcomes. Results are reported in aggregate and de-identified.
- To send receipts, and updates you have asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works.
- To meet legal, tax, and grant-reporting obligations.
Young people's information
This gets extra protection, because it should. Participant data is accessible only to staff and facilitators delivering the program. Photographs and stories require separate, specific, written caregiver consent, and that consent can be withdrawn at any time. A young person may decline to be photographed even where a caregiver has consented, and their decision stands.
No photograph on this website depicts a real participant. Portraits of our founders and board are real photographs, published with their consent. Every other image is AI-generated and illustrative, and this is labeled in the footer of every page.
Who we share with
Service providers who help us operate, such as our payment processor and email provider, under agreements limiting them to that purpose. Authorities, where the law requires it, including mandated reporting of suspected child abuse or neglect. Nobody else.
How long we keep it
Donation records are kept as long as tax and grant-reporting rules require. Participant records are kept while a young person is enrolled and for the period required by our safeguarding and insurance obligations, then securely destroyed. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it, or unsubscribe at any time. Email info@foreverbecomingyouth.org and we will respond within 30 days.
